EXPERIENCE CLUB LIFE

The Clubhouse is where members come together to enjoy a diverse social calendar of holiday celebrations, activities and events. As a Member-Owned Club, our members take great pride in the heart of our property. More than just a building, the Clubhouse cultivates our Club Life.

Traditional Amenities 

As the cornerstone of Saratoga CC, our founders first installed the golf course, playing it's first round in 1962.

Over the years, we have undergone many upgrades to our club, notably completing a major golf course renovation to the original Robert Muir Graves design in 2012. Carter Moorish, son of Jay Moorish, placed his signature touch on every hole.

Over the years, we have upgraded to an oversized 6-court tennis and pickleball center, added an entire member dining program, a Junior Olympic swimming pool, a stand alone golf pro shop, newly relocated driving range and practice greens; all of which is wrapped into a resort like setting carved directly out of the mountainside.  
 

Dining Room, Member Lounge & Full-Bar

Enjoy lunch in the Member Lounge after your round or match Tuesday - Sunday. The Lounge opens at 7am, lunch is served 11am - 3pm in the Dining Room or Member Lounge, with extended beverage service until 7pm. Friday - Sunday we offer an outstanding dinner menu with reservations starting at 5:00pm.  

When you can't get enough of Chef's creations, enjoy lunch or dinner to-go. Have a standing scheduled match? Golf and tennis members can order team lunches up to 24 hours in advance to be delivered directly to the tennis courts or golf patio post match.

The Club has a wide-selection of kid-friendly, vegan, vegerarian, gluten-free and kosher foods. 

Junior-Olympic Swimming Pool 

Enjoy swim season year-round in our heated Junior Olympic size pool. We offer daily lap swim, swim lessons and open swim time, with a 12 foot diving board at the far end of the pool.  Inside our clubhouse we offer a full size locker room with swim showers, towel service, changing rooms and have personal lockers available. 

During the summer season, our members indulge in a delicious Poolside Cabana Menu, with summer favorites to choose from and delivered directly to your lounge chair. 


 

Gym & Fitness Center 

Our gym is located in the lower level of the clubhouse and welcomes both cardiovascular and weight resistance training from 6am - 8pm daily, except Mondays. TV's, waterstations and towel service are at the tip of your fingers for a personalized gym experience.

In addition to offering a daily workout, members enjoy participating in custom scheduled fitness and wellness classes, such as POP Pilates, Aquafit, Gentle Yoga and seasonal bootcamp. Options for a personal trainer also exist should you wish to create a customized road map to success. 

Six Courts with Valley Views 

Tennis and pickleball are sports we play seven days a week. Enjoy six beautiful tennis and pickleball courts designed with your comfort in mind. Easy parking and dedicated spaces to meet up with your next match, our members enjoy coffee and refreshments daily.  The first matches of the morning can be played as early as 6am, with play continuing under the lights until the late evening hours.  The well thought amenities of our court patio seemlessly blend in to the overall sophisticated look, with the lush landscaping, flowers and spectacular views stealing the show.

SCC is honored to be awarded with the Green Ball Award and over 6,000 recycled tennis balls.

60 Years in Silicon Valley! 

Saratoga Country Club was formed in April 1958 and first opened for play June 6, 1962. Six tennis courts were opened for play in 1972, and the second floor of the Clubhouse, dining room and lounge were added in 1974. Over the last decade, the Club has rebuilt every green, remodeled the driving range, resurfaced all courts with the addition of lights, and upgraded the Clubhouse. Most recently, we added two bocce ball courts to revel with friends while enjoying spectacular valley views.

Our founding partners hoped to fulfill their vision of playing private golf. They simply wanted a quality golf experience without the hassles and pitfalls of having to travel 30 miles across town to the next nearest course. Our founders quickly saw the added benefit to the community to carve an incredible golf experience into the foothills of Saratoga.

Backed up to the Fremont Older Open Space Preserve, the Country Club has consciously balanced conservation with local usage throughout the years. We have continued to be good stewards of the land and the neighborhood with sustainability at the forefront. Saratoga Country Club is currently fully equipped with solar and water wells.
