Friendly Accessible Neighborhood Club 

Saratoga Country Club is easily accessible and artfully designed in the serene foothills of Saratoga, CA. As a fully private, member-owned recreation facility, we maintain our fiscal responsibility to secure the future legacy of the Country Club.

Overseen by a board of directors and staff, our club sincerely caters to the needs of its members and strives to provide excellent service with sophisticated and well-maintained amenities.
 

Play When You Want

One of the prime benefits of being a member at a club with a maximum capacity is that you gain easy access to tee times and tennis and pickleball courts. Our club charter permits a total of 300 golfing families and an additional 200 social-tennis families. Our members soon find their best fit among the friendly foursomes during peak hours, competition groups and the quick nine during non-peak hours. The courts are balanced among the doubles tennis of peak social times and competitions to individual hitting sessions with our ball machines.  

When membership categories are full, Saratoga Country Club will maintain a wait list for membership. 

Where Neighbors Become Friends 

The Club welcomes individuals, couples, and families as members from all across the Silicon Valley area - all connected by a strong desire to share and enjoy affordable private golf and recreation in a welcoming and diverse club community.  

Though we do have members local enough to enjoy a brisk walk or bike ride to the Club, many of our members come to us from farther surrounding communities:  Saratoga, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Monte Sereno and San Jose.   

Pride in Ownership

As a traditional equity club, each of our membership holders are our shareholders, therefore you truly are joining a club family.  The Club elects a board of directors each year in March, and has opportunities for members to participate on committees, such as our Ground and Greens Committee and our Membership Committee.  The number of equity stock shares a member holds will correspond to their membership category. 

Over 60 Years of History

Our founding partners aimed to fulfill their vision of playing private golf without having to travel across town in 1958.

The city agreed this was an opportunity to create an excellent golf experience in the foothills of Saratoga.

Bordering the Fremont Older Open Space Preserve, the Club has consciously balanced conservation with our usage and created a challenging track while maintaining a natural setting next to Prospect Creek. Continuing the vision of our founders, we strive to be good stewards of the land and our neighborhood.
